NST looks at Jackson, Mississippi bicycle cases similar to how we look at all cases everywhere. First, we’re looking at liability. Who’s at fault for the accident? We’re going to be looking at bike lanes, the investigation that was done by police. Certainly, we do our own investigation when it comes to witnesses or other parties that were around that could give us some background.
And probably more importantly, we’ll talk to the person involved, the bicyclist, and his or her family to make sure they’re doing okay because, for bicyclists of course, those can be catastrophic injuries. We’ll have them into our Jackson office, if they can make it. If not, we’ll certainly go to them wherever they may be and we just want to make sure they’re taken care of. Everything’s rolling along smoothly as we continue the investigation.
