Generally speaking, the range that I will give, or I would give, is probably 6 months to 3 years on average. So, if your case resolves in pre-litigation before a complaint has to be filed, then it’s less than a year obviously, because the statute of limitation is one year. However, if it has to go to litigation because the parties do not reach an agreement as to the value of the case, then it could take much longer. But on average, the range I give is 6 months to 3 years. I’ve seen some cases go as long as nine years, some cases go as far as 9 to 10 years. Anything beyond those ranges is not typical but certainly does happen.
