Witt McLeod was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama and earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2015. Following his undergraduate studies, Witt attended the University of Mississippi and was awarded his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2018. Witt was licensed to practice law in Alabama in 2018 and in Tennessee in 2020.
Witt has dedicated his entire legal career to fighting for justice for victims. While in law school, Witt assisted clients throughout Mississippi with adoptions and Guardian ad Litem work by participating in the Child Advocacy Clinic. He also clerked for several prominent personal injury law firms in Birmingham during law school, gaining a wealth of valuable information and knowledge in the field. While at Ole Miss, Witt was also the vice chair of the Trial Advocacy Board and competed in trial competitions throughout the southeast.
Following graduation from law school, Witt joined a personal injury firm in Birmingham, where he gained experience through representing individuals injured in auto accidents, by consumer products, and medical drugs and devices. In 2020 Witt joined Nahon, Saharovich, and Trotz, where he focuses primarily in the area of personal injury law, and more specifically, automobile and truck accidents, as well as premises liability cases. He understands how important each case and each client is, and appreciates the opportunity to serve and help his clients in their time of needs.
Witt currently lives in Memphis with his wife Allison. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, and an active volunteer for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. When he’s not practicing law, he enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and playing golf.
