Tennessee Cyclist in Critical Condition After Being Struck by SUV – Driver Later Arrested For DUI

According to the Chattanooga Times Free Press, a 24-year-old male bicyclist was taken to the hospital after being struck by an SUV on April 26, 2011.  The cyclist was riding his bicycle on Dodds Avenue in Chattanooga when the SUV driver, a 30-year-old man, crashed into him.  The driver left the scene of the accident but was later located by police.  He was arrested and his charges include DUI, vehicular assault, improper turn, and leaving the scene of an accident.  The victim is currently in critical condition.
