10-Year-Old Girl Dies in Memphis Car Accident

According to the Memphis Commercial Appeal, a 10-year-old girl was killed in a car accident in Memphis, Tennessee, on July 27, 2011. The accident occurred on Sam Cooper Boulevard near Mendenhall Road. Memphis police said a 62-year-old man was traveling east on Sam Cooper when he crashed into a Honda that had a flat tire. According to WRCB Chattanooga, a man has been located by police and identified as the driver who caused a car accident in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on July 23, 2011. East Ridge Police reported the man drove the wrong way on Interstate 24 and crashed his Dodge Ram head-on into a Pontiac. The driver fled the scene of the crash but was caught by an East Ridge Police officer and charged with driving under the influence (“DUI”), vehicular assault, and reckless endangerment. Tennessee Minister Killed in Recent Car Accident

According to the Hindustan Times, a Tennessee minister, Mariam Pitchai, died in a car accident in India on May 23, 2011. He was riding in a vehicle that crashed into another car from behind.
